Lauryl R. Hynes, DVM

Dr. Lauryl R. Hynes is the owner of Crossover Veterinary Clinic, which she opened in November of 1995.  Dr. Hynes did her undergraduate studies at ASU and UALR and went to the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge.  Dr. Hynes has a fondness for odd looking dogs  and currently owns a brindle pointed blue merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Lilly, a pointer-setter cross named Sadie who looks more like a llama than a dog, and a German Shorthaird Pointer-Poodle cross named Bogey.  The Hynes family also has two cats – Fuzzy Lincoln and RainyDr. Hynes is kept busy between her work at the clinic, her two sons, and her large yard and garden.

 

Beth Stropes, DVM 

Dr Beth Stropes has been with Crossover Veterinary clinic since graduating from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Stropes attended high school in Fayetteville and did her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas.  Dr. Stropes has a dog named Pup Pup, a cat named Bizkit and a tortoise named Delores. Dr. Stropes has a habit of taking on puppies and kittens who need a little extra help and has a special place in her heart for Chihuahuas. Dr. Stropes enjoys riding her e-bikes and walking on the local trails and travel.

 

Rachel Hill, DVM

Dr. Rachel (Squires) Hill is a Fayetteville native and a graduate of Fayetteville High School. She attended the University of Arkansas where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Dr. Hill has assisted veterinarians in Scotland and South Africa and worked on a variety of species including: horses, pigs, rhinoceros, lions, water buffalo, and wildebeests. She received her D.V.M. degree in 2012 from the University of Missouri in Columbia and has been practicing veterinary medicine in her hometown ever since. Dr Hill is highly skilled at soft tissue surgery and dentistry and has a stronginterest in senior pain management and ultrasound. She has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of exotics during her time at Crossover. Dr. Hill and her husband Alan have two daughters, a Standard Poodle named Jackson, and two orange kitties named Mac and Cheese. She enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and exploring the beauty of NWA. She loves traveling and spending time with friends and family.

 

Christy Ferguson, DVM

Dr. Christy Ferguson is a NWA native. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas. She attended vet school at Oklahoma State University. She returned to NWA to practice in small animal clinics after graduating in 2007. In that time she has developed a strong interest in preventative care and soft tissue surgery. She loves developing long term relationships with her clients and patients. In her off time she enjoys spending time with her family consisting of her husband, 2 dogs, and cat. You can also find her trying out a new recipe or curled up with a good book.
